Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Survey Collection Supervisor to oversee a team of survey collection agents. As a Supervisor, you will play a
critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the survey data collection process.
Your primary responsibilities will include training and supervising interviewers, monitoring data quality, and providing guidance and support to ensure project
goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise survey collection agents: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to a team of survey collection interviewers, ensuring adherence to protocols, standards, and project objectives.
- Training and onboarding: Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new interviewers, familiarizing them with survey protocols, data collection techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Quality assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of interviews and collected data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.
- Performance management: Set performance targets for interviewers, track their progress, and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance team performance.
- Resource management: Allocate interviewers to specific projects or assignments based on their skills, availability, and project requirements.
- Problem-solving: Address challenges and obstacles faced by interviewers during data collection, providing timely solutions and support.
- Collaboration and coordination: Coordinate with project managers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and project implementation.
- Reporting and documentation: Prepare regular reports on survey progress, data collection metrics, and any issues or concerns that may arise. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of survey activities.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, recommend best practices, and contribute to the development and refinement of survey protocols and methodologies.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in survey research and data collection.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, market research) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in survey research, data collection, or market research, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with interviewers, project stakeholders, and participants
- Solid understanding of survey research methodologies, data collection techniques, and quality control processes
- Proficiency in using survey software and data management tools
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges and make sound judgments
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
