Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Service Manager for Jimma to join our General Service team. The General Service Manager will be responsible for Running a business requires efficiently managing various verticals with revenue and cost implications, including finance, accounts, HR, sales, marketing and product development. Each of these verticals is critical to overall business performance. Their efficient and effective management requires following various management principles and skills and specific knowledge about the verticals. The duties of a general manager in a company are to take care of individual verticals.

Key Responsibilities;

• Comprehensive knowledge of general procurement laws, practices and procedures to include the Virginia Public Procurement Act. Knowledge of sources, suppliers, and substitutions for specialized materials and the proper sale or disposal of equipment utilized in the water supply industry. 
•  Knowledge of personal computers, database software and other information technology equipment and systems to effectively operate and maintain a fleet, its maintenance records and replacement program including acquisition and surplus disposal
• Thorough knowledge of inventory recordkeeping to include safe, effective, and efficient handling and storage of stock, material, tools, and supplies. 
• Comprehensive knowledge of organizing, planning, coordinating, managing and directing administrative functions, planning processes and technology projects.
•  Knowledge of strategic planning principles and theories to ensure competitive advantage and profitability. 
•  Knowledge of leadership techniques, principles, and procedures to assign work, schedule, supervise, train, and evaluate the work of assigned staff.
• Managing day-to-day operations

• Driving performance towards business goals
• Tracking and assessing the performance of teams
• Managing timelines for successful and timely delivery of duties
• Developing and justifying vertical-specific budgets
• Overseeing resource allocation while maintaining budgetary control

• Ensuring adherence to legal and administrative guidelines
• Resolving internal and external conflicts through mediation
• Forging deals with internal and external partners

• BSc in Management or Business Administration.
• Minimum 7 years proven work experience.
• speaking Afaan Oromo is Mandatory
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
