Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic General Service Assistant  to join our executive team. The General Service Assistant will be responsible forMaintain construction materials and ensure that they are stock levels are maintained and To attend to and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise, in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage or other irregularities and complete the necessary return and report

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain construction materials and ensure that they are stock levels are maintained
  • Manage assigned tasks
  • Communicating any issues related with construction works and materials
  • Maintain standards according to the Service Level Agreement regarding material 
  • Ensure all customers are greeted in a professional manner
  • Ensure a ‘can do, will do’ culture is adhered to at all times
  • Ensure all areas under your control are left clean and tidy at all times, adhering to a clear desk policy
  • To attend to and take all necessary action, statutory and otherwise, in the event of accident, fire, loss, theft, lost property, damage or other irregularities and complete the necessary return and / or report
  • To attend meeting and training courses as may be necessary from time to time
  • Carry out adhoc cleaning duties as required
  • To carry out any reasonable request by Management
  • Doing any tasks that assigned by the general service manager
  • BSc in Management or Business Administration.
  •  Minimum of 3 years on assistant position.
  • Speaking Afaan Oromo is mandatory.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in the construction or related industry is a plus.
