PROFESSIONAL BARTENDER

Job Overview

Ramada by Wyndham Addis is excited to announce the opening of a new Mediterranean Restaurant and is seeking a talented and experienced Professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixology: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic and innovative cocktails, to the highest standards.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with guests to create a memorable bar experience.
• Menu Development: Collaborate with the management team to develop and update the beverage menu, incorporating Mediterranean-inspired drinks.
• Inventory Management: Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking supplies, and ensuring proper storage.
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments and managing the cash register.
• Training: Assist in training new bar staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-end restaurant or bar.

• Education: Certification in bartending or mixology is preferred: relevant Competency certification (COC) is a must.

Skills:

• Expertise in crafting a variety of cocktails and beverages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of bar inventory management.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Languages: 

• Proficiency in English is required
