Social Media Host

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Social Media Host proficient in both Amharic and English languages. The ideal candidate will be responsible for hosting and producing live and recorded content across various social media platforms to boost our brand’s presence and engage with our audience effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Host live and recorded sessions on social media platforms, engaging with the audience in real-time.
• Develop and deliver engaging content in both Amharic and English for social media posts, stories, and live sessions.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create content strategies that align with our brand’s objectives.
• Monitor audience engagement and feedback, and adjust content to improve reach and interaction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and integrate relevant content ideas.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Social Media Host, Content Creator, or similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Amharic and English.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with live streaming tools and social media analytics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
