Key Accountabilities
Designing, producing, and managing interactive online content, including email templates, social media, and promotional artwork, and informative eBooks.
Developing posts that will be used for the different social media platforms based on the trend and usage. Post may include short clips from different existing assets of the platform, new or adapted designs (such as Key Campaign Visuals, adapting to different sizes and formats based on requirement) etc.
Support in preparing briefs for each project and presenting design ideas to all the relevant stakeholders.
Collaborating with marketing team to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting usability and website standards.
Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all company platforms.
Working with the IT and Corporate Digital departments to oversee the smooth implementation of new content.
Execute all social media campaign Deliver on Digital assets where necessary as part of campaign delivery.
Drive Customer education, Self Service awareness and usage through digital posts Drive Awareness and usage of VAS services/products and other digital platforms across all spheres.
Key Task
Design digital media campaigns according to business goals
Design and distribute digital content such as website, blogs, press releases and podcasts, infographics, videos etc.
Develop post for digital/social media such as Static Visuals, Short videos, GIFs etc.
Developing design for Customer education such as self-service, payment options etc. for awareness digital campaigns/posts
Suggest strategies and methods for improvement
Regularly track and get insights into competitors' strategies
Stay up to date with digital media technologies and latest trends
Responsible for following the content calendar and rolling-out campaigns to ensure that the broader business has visibility of the suite of digital marketing (and social) activity that digital is running.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, graphic design, or related field.
3 years experience preferably in a digital marketing function or similar role
Knowledge in Graphic Design and Video Editing
Experience in digital marketing automation software, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
Proficient in Amharic and one more language is plus.
Technical Competencies
Understanding and experience in the use digital tools and social media marketing
Knowledge and understanding of digital, design and editing software tools
Digital analytics and insights expertise
Motion graphics and animation: Understanding of animating graphics and text to enhance visual presentation.
