Description:
The Sales Head will lead and manage the sales team, develop effective sales strategies, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role involves setting and achieving sales targets, recruiting and training sales staff, and collaborating with other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Lead, motivate, and guide the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
Provide coaching and training to enhance the team's selling skills.
Plan and organize the sales team's schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
Coordinate with team members to manage workloads and territories effectively.
Recruitment and Development:
Identify staffing needs and participate in the recruitment and selection process of sales team members.
Conduct onboarding and continuous training programs to ensure the team is well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with the management to set realistic and challenging sales targets.
Develop effective sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share.
Create and implement tactical plans to achieve sales objectives.
Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities and threats.
Plan sales strategy and set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for sales members.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and evaluate the team's performance against set targets.
Generate regular sales reports to provide insights into team performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
Resolve customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
Communicate sales goals, strategies, and performance updates to senior management.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve targets.
Identify and recommend areas for investment to improve sales performance and productivity.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the sales team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales management.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a high-performing sales team.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
