Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the purchasing process, directly acquiring various items for our organization, including Fresh Bazaar and other suppliers, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with procurement policies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement Planning:

Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and requirements. Develop and implement procurement plans to ensure timely availability of goods and services.

2. Supplier Management:

Identify and assess potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring favorable agreements.

Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore new sources as needed.

3. Purchase Order Processing:

Prepare and process purchase orders in alignment with procurement policies and procedures. Ensure accuracy in order details, specifications, and delivery timelines.

Coordinate with other departments to confirm order requirements.

4. Price Negotiation:

Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective deals.

Monitor market trends and conduct regular price comparisons to ensure competitiveness.

5. Quality Assurance:

Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure received goods meet specified standards. Address quality issues with suppliers and take corrective actions when necessary.

6. Contract Management:

Review and manage contracts with suppliers, including terms, conditions, and performance expectations.

Ensure compliance with contract terms throughout the procurement process.

7. Budget Monitoring:

Work with finance teams to develop and monitor procurement budgets.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to minimize expenses.

8. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.

Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, including cost savings, supplier performance, and delivery times.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Four Years Proven experience in Procurement
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritizes, and works in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.
