Senior General Accountant

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control and manage day today General Accounting Activities.

• Prepare Daily, weekly and monthly reports 

• Prepare Reconciliation for Account receivables and Account Payables and Prepare Statement of Accounts.

• Reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances

• Participate in month-end and Year-end physical count

• Perform journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Check the completeness of documents before effect of any payments

• Supervise guiding and monitor accounting staff

• Control the Activities of General Accounting Section Financial Operations

• Prepare tax and settlements to government on a normal due date.

• Manage daily available cash balances and postdated cks 

• perform month-end and year-end account closing activities and reconciliations

• Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for proper Adjustments

• Support Auditor in conducting internal and external audits.

• Follow filing and documentation process of the Department.

• Check the correctness of all coding and postings according to accounting principles and company procedures.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance with six & above years of relevant work experience of which Two (2) or more than two years should be at senior General Accountant position.

• Good Knowledge of Team management skill 

• Ability to work independently 

• Good knowledge of accounting cycles and ledger follow up

• knowledge of Peachtree accounting is must and ERP system is a plus 

• Training and Experience in IFRS is a must 

• Experience in Manufacturing industry is must and plastic, and packaging industry is a plus
