Job Summary:
You will provide service in the day-to-day delivery of responsive, effective and efficient administrative activities in support of the Catholic Relief Servicesâ (CRS) mission to serve the poor and vulnerable. You will provide consistent and high-quality service and contribute to the proper stewardship of resources to help ensure operational effectiveness in support of high-quality Property administration.
Job Responsibilities:
Organize and post the received and issued goods on system/insight/e.g., receive expected shipments, inspect receipts, and put away receipts and prepare final distribution issue/delivery notes/, and record lot numbers and serial numbers of the received and issued assets/goods.
Support implementation of property management processes, such as property receipt and distribution, property labeling, physical counts, etc. Updating stock balance (e.g. recording of the issued, received and transferred goods).
Facilitate communication with all units of the organization and external stakeholders as relevant, especially in relation with receiving & issuing of goods. Periodic inventory, sending/receiving assets under the custody of each staff shall made in effective and efficient way.
Prepare transactional documents in support of general property operations processes and support coordination of transaction processing (e.g. asset transfer requests, documenting assets transfer agreements, etc.).
Responsible & maintain all the temporary / transit stores within CRS Addis Ababa, and closely work with CRS ICT unit in relation with inventories of ICT related assets.
Typical Background, Experience & Requirements:
Education and Experience
High School diploma required. Professional diploma/Certificate or courses in management, accounting or supply chain management is preferable.
Two yearsâ experience working in an office environment in office management or administrative role. Experience with an international NGO, a plus.
Additional education may substitute for some experience.
Experience with warehousing, inventory administration function, data entry into online databases and forms, and working with various office equipment.
Experience in MS Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) and information management systems.

Strong customer service orientation with good communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, resourceful, solutions oriented and results-oriented
Required/Desired Foreign Language
Travel Required (include percentage of required travel, if applicable)

Internal: with all CRS staffs who have assets under their custody
External: With suppliers for checking & receiving goods procured
