We are currently seeking an exceptional and ambitious individual with a can-do attitude to support Toppan Gravity Ethiopia's business growth objectives in Ethiopia.
This pivotal role requires an individual who excels at cultivating relationships and has the acumen to seize business opportunities in the security printing, public and private sectors, payment/financial sector, transportation industry, and more. Leveraging their expertise, this individual will drive our growth trajectory in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
Identify potential clients in newly acquired and existing markets within the region and recognize market shifts while staying fully informed about new products and the competition's status.
Identifying and acquiring new business through a consistent program of cold calling, mailing, following up on referrals and leads, and staying informed about competitors' sales strategies.
Implement the organization's sales plan to expand the customer base and ensure a strong presence within the assigned area of responsibility (AOR).
Prepare the region's sales budget for discussion, review, and consolidation with the director.
Present sales, revenue, and expense reports, along with realistic forecasts, to the management team.
Maintain and increase sales of the company's products.
Provide the CEO with a weekly call report detailing activities, results, follow-up actions, and comments.
Negotiate price and volume discounts (where applicable) in accordance with organizational policies, and coordinate with Technical Support staff on technical issues to ensure client retention and ongoing business.
Assist in studying, preparing, and updating all market segmentation reports with the Sales and Commercial Manager to continuously focus on the company's core target market.
Compile and analyze sales figures to maximize profitability.
Monitor competitors' sales and product strategies in the market to review and update action plans, ensuring they better meet clients' objectives.
Collaborate with the Regional Director and marketing teams on advertising and promotional campaigns to optimize sales operations.
Oversee sales operations in assigned areas to ensure consistency and efficiency in alignment with the company's standards, policies, and procedures.
Conduct calls to current customers to collect due payments in accordance with the company's credit policy.
Adhere to company policies and procedures concerning customer care, selling techniques, and other related sales matters.
Brief the team (when applicable) on the strategy and global sales objectives to establish quantitative and qualitative sales goals.
Maintain contact with assigned clients and serve as the primary liaison between the client and the organization to ensure the highest level of service is consistently provided.
Understand the customer's objectives, buying criteria, and decision-making process to build long-term business partnerships. Leverage these relationships to increase revenue and position the organization as a quality supplier to achieve "preferred" supplier status.
Ensure effective follow-up on customer-related issues by conducting scheduled market visits to assess client needs and strengthen customer relations.
Establish, maintain, and grow the customer database.
Requirements:
BA/BS in Business Management or a related field.
5 years of sales experience, including a minimum of 3 years in relevant areas such as high-tech products, Banking Products, or equivalent.
