Job Description:
The primary responsibility of Human Resource Manager in the real estate industry will be to oversee and manage all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. He/she will play a crucial role in supporting the company's goals and objectives by developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that attract, develop, motivate, and retain a high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Selection:
Develop and implement effective recruitment and selection strategies to attract and hire top talent for various roles within the organization.
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and conduct interviews.
Conduct background checks, reference checks, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
2. Employee Onboarding
Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including orientation programs, paperwork, and training.
Handle off boarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and ensuring smooth transitions for departing employees.
3. Employee Relations:
Promote positive employee relations by fostering a healthy work environment, addressing employee concerns, and resolving conflicts.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
Handle disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievances in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
4. Performance Management:
Develop and implement performance management systems, including goal setting, performance appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and employee development plans.
Provide coaching and support to managers to improve performance management practices.
Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
5. Compensation and Benefits:
Collaborate with senior management to develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Conduct market research to ensure the company's compensation packages remain competitive.
Oversee payroll processes, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
6. HR Policies and Compliance:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Stay up to date with changes in employment legislation and ensure the organization's compliance.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
7. HR Reporting and Analytics:
Prepare HR reports and metrics to monitor key HR indicators such as turnover, recruitment effectiveness, and training ROI.
Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on HR analytics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
5+ years proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in the real estate industry or related marketing companies.
In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong understanding of recruitment and selection processes.
Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR-related software.
