EORE Team leader

Ethio-Professionals’ Security Solutions (EPSS), is a non-governmental, not for profit organization with the headquarters in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) established in 2021. EPSS is a humanitarian and development organization established with the aim of changing customers’ perceptions towards safety, security, and wellbeing by outdoing ourselves every day. It provides landmine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), minefield survey, travel risk management services and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) and importantly safety and security services, Rehabilitation and Conflict Resolution to help the recovery and development of affected communities.
EPSS in collaboration with Humanity and Inclusion (HI) and Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is currently at the verge of starting the project entitled: Comprehensive Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) Response in conflict-affected areas of Tigray Regional State, Ethiopia with the operational scope in Eastern and North Western zones.
EPSS is looking for qualified and competent applicants for the following positions:
EORE TEAM LEADER JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the regional coordinator and project manager, the EORE Team Leader shall be stationed at Adigrat and will be carrying out activities in the target woredas of the zone and he/she will be responsible for overall activities implementation, EORE training, documentation of the project implementation records and reporting to the regional coordinator/project manager.

Main tasks of the EORE Team Leader:

• Conduct EORE in the target areas in consultation with the regional coordinator and trainers.
• Provide technical support to the EORE trainers for effective implementation of training,
• Keep   the   training   records, prepare timely reports and share with the regional coordinator/project manager,
• Write/organize success stories of the project activities implementation and share along with the reports,

Minimum qualifications and skills:

• BA in social sciences, Political Sciences, or related field
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management, community mobilization and training
• Prior experience in EORE is required,
• Strong facilitation skills,
• Strong determination to promote gender equality,
• Tigrigna and Amharic language knowledge is mandatory,
• Good understanding and communication of English language,
