Overview:

We are looking for senior Accountant to be responsible for manage the financial operations of our firm. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of import transactions. This role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for Sales Engineer

Financial Management: Oversee daily financial operations, including bookkeeping, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports for the company.

Tax Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with local tax regulations.

Payroll: Process payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management.

Transaction Recording: Record and manage all real estate transactions, including sales, leases, and property management activities.

Audit Preparation: Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.

Support: Provide financial analysis and support to other departments as needed.

Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform other financial duties as assigned by the management.

Salary/Compensation: Monthly

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: More than 6 years of experience in accounting, 

preferably in the import sector.

Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
