Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)
Understand and put into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan Internationalās Code of Conduct (CoC).
Ensure that Plan Internationalās global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.
Ensure that Plan Ethiopia contributes to Plan Internationalās global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI, including making sure that relevant reporting and data are submitted.
Educational Background
BA degree in Sociology, Social Work, Psychology Child Development, and other related fields.
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of humanitarian aid experience applied in emergency/recovery response operations preferably in the area of child protection and youth program Activity
excellent knowledge of Child Protection and SGBV minimum standards and basic principles; Good knowledge of SGBV and Child Protection case management
Excellent knowledge of basic child protection and youth principles and child & adult development and learning
Ability to deliver quality programs at a desirable time and work under stressful conditions.
Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic.
Gender-sensitive.
