General Chief Accountant

Purpose of the Job:

The General Chief Accountant should manage, control and improve all day today activities of general accounts section he or she will be responsible to success and failure of the Section of the department and responsible to prepare insightful, timely, accurate and relevant reports.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Confirm that checks, receipts and other financial documents are kept properly and safeguarded.
• Confirm that proper books of accounts are maintained for recording the financial transactions of the company
• Follow the normal balance of Account receivable and payable ledgers and ensure that on time collection and payments of receivables and other obligations.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain records for various adjustment items.
• Manag and reconcile general Account ledgers as per needed 
• Ensure that the completeness of the required documents and approvals before effect of any payments
• Follow proper account balance of ledgers and make adjustment for unnormal balance 
• Follow up and make sure all bank loans and government taxes are paid on time and properly documented
• prepare reports that help as an input in the preparation of periodic financial statements.
• Follow up and make sure all sales documents are properly invoiced and posted 
• Lead, manage and coach General Account Section staff 
• Lead annual closing of accounts and participates the periodic and annual inventory count of the company

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance with above Eight (8) years of relevant work experience of which Two (2) or more than two years should be at supervisory, General Account Head or same position.
• Good Knowledge of Team management skill and Ability to work independently 
• knowledge of Peachtree accounting is must and ERP system is a plus 
• Training and implementation Experience in IFRS is a must 
• Experience in Manufacturing industry is must and plastic and packaging industry is a plus
