Pre-Sales Engineer - ALTA Computec PLC

ALTA Computec PLC, a leading provider of innovative end-to-end IT solutions in Ethiopia, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Sales Engineer  to join their dynamic team. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our sales initiatives by providing technical expertise and crafting tailored solutions for our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Understand the client's business requirements and technical challenges to propose the most suitable IT Hardware and solutions

• Demonstrate and showcase ALTA Computec's product and service offerings, highlighting their features, benefits, and value proposition

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop effective solution presentations and proof-of-concept demonstrations

• Provide technical guidance and support during the pre-sales process, addressing client queries and concerns

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to enhance the company's competitive edge

• Participate in pre-sales activities, such as solution design, technical assessments, and feasibility studies

• Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to stay informed about new developments and product roadmaps

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years and above work experience in a pre-sales or technical consulting role, or related profession preferably in the IT industry

• 2nd Grade Drivers License

• Strong technical expertise and hands-on experience with a wide range of IT solutions, including infrastructure, cloud, security, and enterprise applications

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to address client challenges

• Proficiency in Windows and various enterprise software platforms

• Certification(s) from leading technology vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are highly desirable

• Fluency in English
