Kelem Ethiopia (KELEM) is a national non-governmental, non-profit, non-partisan, civil society organization (CSO) committed to humanity. Kelem has been actively participating in the developmental activities of the country and improving the lives of people for the last 21 years mainly through the creation of access to quality education, water, Sanitation and hygiene (WaSH) facilities, health, emergency response, livelihood, capacity building of youth, citizens and institutions at different level.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Program Manager, he/she will be responsible to overseeing and managing multiple projects of Kelem Ethiopia to ensure their successful execution and completion.
The Program Manager is also expected to ensure the successful coordination, execution, and delivery of multiple projects within a program. He/she will be responsible for strategic planning, stakeholder management, project coordination, resource allocation, budget management, quality assurance, risk management, change management, reporting, and continuous improvement. Ability to effectively manage projects and teams, while aligning them with the organization's goals, will be crucial to the success of the program.

Essential minimum qualifications and capacities
MA/MSc or BA degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Project Management, development management, or related social science fields
Eight (8) or 10 years of relevant experience of which five (4) at senior program management and/or new business development level respectively.
Proven and successful experience in project concept note and proposal development,
Excellent analytical, creativity and negotiation skill
Excellent leadership, team formation and management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide project teams.
Proven experience as a Program Manager, overseeing and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Time sensitive and able to meet multiple deadlines
Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
