Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist at Capital Flow Trading PLC is responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to promote our range of imported products. This role involves market research, campaign planning, digital marketing, and collaboration with sales teams to boost brand visibility and drive sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong marketing background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy Development:
   • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our imported products, including infant formula milk, ceramic products, and agricultural chemicals.
   • Collaborate with management to define marketing objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
2. Market Research and Analysis:
   • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
   • Analyze market data to understand consumer behavior and develop insights that inform marketing strategies and campaigns.
3. Digital Marketing and Campaign Management:
   • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
   • Monitor and optimize campaign performance to achieve desired outcomes, such as increased brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth.
4. Content Creation and Branding:
   • Develop compelling content, including product descriptions, social media posts, blog articles, and promotional materials that align with the company’s brand image and marketing goals.
   • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
5. Sales Support and Collaboration:
   • Work closely with the sales team to develop promotional materials, product presentations, and sales tools that support the sales process.
   • Coordinate marketing efforts with sales campaigns to maximize customer engagement and conversion rates.
6. Event Planning and Management:
   • Plan and execute marketing events, product launches, and trade shows to promote our products and engage with potential customers.
   • Manage event logistics, vendor relationships, and post-event analysis to measure success and identify improvement areas.
7. Performance Reporting and Analysis:
   • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
   • Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working in marketing, preferably within an import/export company or the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, SEO, and email marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative flair for content creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Proficiency in marketing software and tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Amharic or other languages is an advantage.
