Job Description
This position is responsible for assisting in all IT Risk management activities of the bank and preparing summary reports on the different outcomes for purposes of making informed decisions.
Key duties and responsibilities
Support in evaluating IT related risks, and submit recommendations for improvement.
Ensure compliance with all the Bank’s IT policies and procedures.
Support in monitoring enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to information security activities.
Identify operations and defects in the computer and network system.
Test IT systems and disaster recovery plans and initiate updates for major changes in hardware, applications, and business accordingly.
Identify the potential threats and vulnerabilities for Bank’s business related to information technology.
Conduct risk scenarios analysis to determine their impact on the bank's business objectives.
Participate change management process to ensure compliance and effectivity in mitigating risk
Work with teams to challenge in risk assessments on specific Information Technology Risk
Participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes.
Support innovation projects and challenge the implementation of information security and general IT controls requirements.
Support business development initiatives through creation of proposals and client scoping around IT risks.
Support IT to keep its Risk Appetite within predefined thresholds.
Education:
Bachelor's/ B.Sc. Degree in Computer science,, Information Technology or in related field of studies.
Experience:
At least 3 years relevant experience with 2 years as Officer II/III or equivalent.
