Job Summary

WEST DATA CENTER SERVICE PLC(Ethiopia Branch) is seeking a driven and organized Accountant with 1-2 years of Experience in accounting. The successful candidate is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and financial statements.
• Accounting Transactions: Process and record transactions, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
• Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and explanations.
