Regional Project Coordinator

The Ethiopian National Association of the Blind (ENAB) is currently implementing Together for Inclusion (TOFI) Project which focuses on three thematic areas: – Human Rights Advocacy (HRA), Inclusive Education (IE) and Economic Empowerment (EE) in Addis Ababa and in its branches out of Addis Ababa. We are looking for Regional Project Coordinator for Amhara region to be located at Bahir dar

Report to: - Program Manager

Terms of Employment: – For one year, renewable based on performance

Report to- the program manager but work in collaboration with National coordinator, ENAB branch offices in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Prepare detailed implementation plan on biannual, quarterly and monthly based on the annual plan prepared for TOFI and other projects of the association.

• Prepare detail budget breakdown and cash flow on biannual, quarterly and monthly basis for TOFI project of the association implemented within the assigned region.

• Coordinate trainings, workshop, campaigns, meetings, events and other activities in TOFI projects and in other projects of the association which are implemented in the region.

• Participate in meetings, forums, symposium, panel discussion prepared by partners and other stakeholders in relation to TOFI and other projects of the association.

• Assess and identify the needs and gaps of the respective target and other partners in all projects of the association implemented in the assigned region.

• Provide technical support to project implementing partners and schools in the assigned region.

• Work closely with government offices and project implementing partners in the assigned region.

• Facilitate and participate in data collection related to different assessment, baseline and end line survey for different projects of the association implemented in the assigned region.

• Produce case stories, best practices, success stories for TOFI and other projects of the association and share to the respective project coordinators, program manager.

• Keep documentation of the reports, plans, and other relevant materials in soft and hard copies for further references.

• Prepare progress report for TOFI and other projects of the association implemented in the region with the required quality and time.

• Monitor and evaluate the execution of activities in TOFI and other projects of the association implemented in the region.

• Perform other activities assigned by immediate supervisor.

Place or Work: Bahir Dar and travel project implementation places as required  

Salary: – Birr10,000 – Birr 14,500 based on qualification & work experience 

Required Educational Background: -

• B.A. Degree in Sociology, Social Work, Economics, Management, Business Management and Project Management.

Work Experience: -

• Work experience in coordinating projects minimum of 3/5 years of experience for M.A. / B.A degree respectively

• NGO Experience is required

• Experience in identifying training need assessment, preparation of training plan, coordinate trainings, conduct assessment of the trainings,

• Experience in Monitoring and Evaluation Proven experience in facilitation and community mobilization skills

• Technical and report writing skills

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Power Point)
