Insurance Officer

AHFAPLC is one of the companies in Midroc Investment Group . The company is mainly engaged in the production of OCHE Spaghetti, OCHE Macaroni, OCHE Shortening, OCHE Ghee and OCHE Ketchup importer of OCHE sunflower oil.

Job Description

• Plans, organizes and implements insurance activities;
• Purchases insurance coverage for company assets;
• Fill out an insurance report or claim when there is damage to property or vehicles;
• Resolves insurance claims;
• renews insurance contracts and pays insurance premiums;
• Keeps insurance related documents in soft copy and hard copy;
• Closely supervises the insurance activities of property or vehicles;
• Implements policies, procedures and guidelines related to insurance matters;
• Tracks the purchase of insurance coverage, evaluates the coverage purchased;
• Investigate the validity of insurance claims;
• follows the procedure for refund of premiums;
• Monitors completion of premium payments, conducts current market price survey of materials;
• Maintain good relations with insurance companies;
• Timely renews property or vehicle insurance;
• Researches and makes recommendations about new insurance coverage;
• Performs any related tasks;

Education and training:

• BA in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Accounting or related field of study

Job Requirements

Candidates interested in the position of insurance officer should meet the following requirements: -

• 2 years experience and above
• All educational certifications should be from accredited educational institutions.
• Basic computer knowledge system, like MS office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
