Procurement Expert-

Job Purpose:

• To execute all the imports activities to meet and deliver in accordance with timescales set by Kerchanshe systems, polices, and procedures through conducting market research, building a network of reliable vendors and service providers, and inspecting deliveries.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Collects price quotation from suppliers and submit price summary to the management for approval.
• Prepares purchase orders for foreign purchases based on purchase contract and pro-forma invoice.
• Ensures that all import documents issued by the supplier are as per the terms and conditions of the letter of credit and purchase contract.
• Ensures that imported products are in compliance with product specifications and documents are consistent with LC terms.
• Follows up of shipment status and timely arrival of imported properties.
• Tracks all supplies requests from the user department are facilitated in a professional manner and following the Supply chain and financial guidelines of the company. 
• Ensures that goods and supplies are procured and delivered to the warehouses in line with the quantity, quality and specification stated in the Purchase requests. 
• Ensures that all procured items are delivered to the warehouses and proper warehouse documents are issued.
• Ensures that all procurement and supply requirements are procured and delivered in accordance with timescales set and agreed with the requesting departments/projects. 
• Maintains excellent communication links between Corporate and subsidiaries offices to ensure appropriate and regular information flow on all requests received as well as to ensure that the requesters get the right items, at the right time and at the right place.
• Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Skills

• BA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Management, or related fields.  

Experience: 

• 2 years for BA 

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with international trade regulations.
• Understanding of e-business / e-procurement systems
• Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Time management skills
