Position Overview:
The Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to serve as the Hospital Administrator and Deputy HR Manager. In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and operations of the hospital, ensuring the delivery of exceptional healthcare services to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Human Resource Management:
    • Develop and implement effective human resource management strategies, including recruitment, job description development, training, and performance management.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, job satisfaction, and professional development.
    • Ensure the hospital's compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  2. Strategic Planning and Leadership:
    • Collaborate with the hospital's management team to develop and implement strategic plans that align the hospital's goals with its overall vision and mission.
    • Participate in decision-making, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Cultivate a culture of excellence, innovation, and patient-centered care throughout the organization.
  3. Discipline and Ethical Oversight:
    • Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical practices within the hospital.
    • Implement robust systems and policies to ensure the hospital's compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  4. Operations Management:
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital, including patient services, facilities management, and support services.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with department heads to optimize workflow, streamline processes, and enhance the overall patient experience.
  5. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, community organizations, government agencies, and industry partners.
    • Represent the hospital in external forums and act as a spokesperson, promoting the hospital's brand and reputation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address the community's healthcare needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within a healthcare organization.
  • Proven track record of successful hospital human resources and administration management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial management and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and continuous improvement.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, trends, and best practices.
