Pharmakon Trading House is a private limited company and one of the major Pharmaceuticals, medical & laboratory supplies, and Hospital equipment importer and distributor; Serve the supply chain of these products to health sector for several years. Currently has more than 100 imported items and wants to expand its company by recruiting competent human manpower for the below listed positions. 

Job Summary 

Working with and reporting to the Operational manager, a Technical manager assists in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the procurement of pharmaceuticals, medical supplies laboratory reagents, and medical equipment; monitoring the warehouses; registration of products; and prepare monthly reporting of consumption , stock movement of our products as per standard operating  procedures of the company. The Technical manager will assist Pharmakon trading house PLC in the management and stocking of the Import and wholesale stock room in support of store managers. The Technical manager will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of service of supply chain.  

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the overall supervision and guidance of operational manager and CEO of Pharmakon trading house, the Technical manager will have the following specific duties and responsibilities:

• Revise and update the overall directives for the warehouses, regarding to pharmaceuticals, medical devices purchasing, and storage handling procedures and standards under national policies and maintain  the supervision for proper implementation

• Monitor the overall performance of warehouses, proper stock control, utilization, timely ordering, and restocking of drugs, equipment, and consumable medical supplies.

• Handle the procurement of the day-to-day medical supplies, equipment, drugs, etc as per the lead time.

• Maintain procurement delivery tracking sheet that helps to monitor the status of the medical supplies procurement requests and make ready monthly and quarterly data for proper decision-making.

• Check, inspect and approve every order and invoices incoming and outgoing medical supplies to ensure reconciliation is done against documents of approved purchase requisition, and commercial invoices.

• Handle the registration process of the products registered under Pharmakon trading house Plc.

• Prepare the dossier with close communication with the Factory, CEO and Operating manager. And renew the registration as per schedule listed. 

• Handle in securing import permit certificate from the Food and Drug Authority for medical supplies coming from abroad.

• Handle custom clearance of medical supplies that are to be procured from abroad.

• Participate in the year-end stock and fixed asset inventory

• Prepare database for distribution of products with respect of vendor/ customer/ region/ specific areas and sales person or contact. 

• Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports in time.

• Provide all concerned weekly and monthly procurement tracking update

• Make sure that store managers are maintaining recordings of storeroom following SOP, including monitoring temperature and proper storage of medications. 

• Assist the Operational manager in reviewing specifications and undertakes any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor. 

• Participate any tasks related to help the future company growth. 

Department: Regulatory Affairs

Reports To: Technical Manager

Duration of Contract: at least two years with possible extension

Salary: Negotiable.

Required Qualification

• BA degree in Pharmacy 

 Experience

• 5 years of directly relevant experience in the technical manager and especially registration handler.
