Senior Accountant

The Senior accountant will be responsible for the preparation of Financial Report, Performing account reconciliation, maintaining general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other duties when assigned. 

• Controlling of financial records and related documents.
• Ensuring complete, accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Ascertaining proper documentation has been supported for each of bank payments.
• Identifying, analyzing and reporting any financial discrepancies.
• Identifying and reporting any risk factors which may raise financial impact to the Company.
• Keeping the budget figures for their actual utilization.
• Identifying and reporting the Company’s compliance to tax matters.
• Aligning with other teams to have cost effective and revenue generating activity.

• Reviewing whether payment requests are under the approved budget limits.
• Ensuring proper documentation have been collected for the respective bank payments and reporting the non compliance every week.
• Making a proper coding and posting to the proper general ledger accounts.
• Preparing the monthly bank reconciliation to the respective bank accounts. 
• Reconciling subsidiary and general ledger accounts. 
• Reconciling tax ledger accounts against tax declaration file summaries. 
• Follow up the cash collection task with the designated team and report any long outstanding balances on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain proper financial documents with secured condition for further retrieval or reference of documents.
• Record, summarize, analyze and report each cash collection and payments against their contract agreement on a weekly and on a monthly basis.
• Assisting monthly inventory count teams as necessary as possible.
• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the Chief Accountant, if necessary.
• Align with other department staffs to give data/assistance for the Company’s cost effective and revenue generating activities under the supervision of the Chief accountant.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned as necessary regarding financial matters.         

• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in as a Senior Accountant role.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Proficient in ERP, word processing and spreadsheet software
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Strong understanding of federal, state and local tax regulations

• BA degree in Accounting and Finance field of study from a recognized and reputable institution.
