Bilal Microfinance Institution S.C. is a full-fledge interest free microfinance institution established based on the NBE Directive No. MFI/32/2021 to provide sharia compliant and inclusive microfinance services that provide access to the community excluded from financial services due to interest

Purpose of the Job:

Senior Risk Management Officer will be responsible to manage potential risks arising from the day-to-day operations of Bilal Microfinance Institution that includes credit risk, operational risks, Liquidity risks arising from asset-liability management, foreign exchange and interest rates risks by identifying, analyzing, quantifying and provide possible recommendations.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/TRAINING

B.A. degree in Banking and Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS

Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Institutions Strategic Plan;
Interest free banking and basic Sheriah knowledge
Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others at all levels;
Good conceptual understanding of participatory approach and sustainable development;
Firm belief in teamwork and gender equality;
Basic computer skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
