Job Summary

General service is responsible for implementing administrative activities, procedures, and policies ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Supporting day-by-day operations by performing General Services activities such as travel arrangements, relevant logistics supports (i.e. accommodation, transportation, etc.), and administrative paperwork for a visa, work permit, and residence card;)
  2. Providing general administrative and clerical support to the HR&GS team such as updating relevant reports, and procedures of the Company, controlling costs for the Department;
  3. Establishing and maintaining a proper filing system to ensure smooth documentation and administration of the Department;
  4. Managing maintenance, cleaning services, and other facilities for the office;
  5. Other duties as assigned from time to time
  6. Complying with rules and standards described in Company Policies, HSE Integrated Management System and Procedures;
  7. Reporting all incidents, any unsafe acts or conditions, which they have observed;
  8. Co-operating to ensure that the workplace is safe for everyone who may be affected by his/her actions

  9. support the management for planning and budgeting of general services and transportation activities, based on company programs

  10. To support the management for operating activities related to general services such as office layout management, building maintenance, supplies monitoring, canteen, activities aimed to provide company personnel with adequate housing (residential building and houses), etc.

  11. To analyze and to arrange office layout, according to the human resources programs

Workplace; West Showa Zone Ginchi Town

Position: Office of HRM Department
Reports to:  The Office of the Brewery Department

Qualification:

  • Academic requirement: MA/BA in HRM or related fields
  • Work experience: 2/4 years of experience

Additional Competencies :

  • Good eye-hand coordination
  • Attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of electronic and computerized equipment in laboratories
  • Able to follow instructions and strictly follow procedures
  • Good command of English, Amharic, and Afan Oromo language.
