Job Description:
A Bid Coordinator reports work directly for the company's Deputy General Manager. He/she is responsible to coordinating and following up on all procedures, beginning from the purchase of tender documents and the submitting of filled tender documents, goods and services on behalf of the company. This position needs careful attention to detail as well as the ability to operate under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities of a Bid Coordinator.
The Bid Coordinator is responsible for the development of a suitable plan for the department by participating the department's employees, taking into account the organization's capacity and the budget allocated for the project.
He/she is responsibility for, distributing the work share, Monitoring the performance and organizing the staff designated to the work in accordance with the implementation plan.
Following of international and national tenders and identifying the company's participation in consultation with the management of the company.
A Bid Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and producing bid proposals for the Company.
The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsible for completely examining the updated market prices for the needed product selected by the Company managements, filling out the price on tender forms, and submitting the document based on the most recent market pricing.
He/she will follow up on the bids to which we have submitted documents and sign the contract on the company's behalf for the goods we have won.
Make the responsible bodies / the relevant officials, prepare the sales invoice for the items we have supplied,
After finishing the supply of the goods we won with the bid, he/she will responsible, whether or not the money has been deposited into our company's account number and return the CPO.
He is responsibility to the department's overall operations, and he or she will discuss and facilitate future work plans with company managers.
He has the responsibility of giving work to the employees of the department according to their plans, monitoring the performance of the work and giving additional work to the employees of the department as needed.
Bid coordinator needs to have best communication skills and understanding design of how to participate on a big tender; in addition bid coordinators must be proficient in the use of technology.
As required, he has obligation to work the additional work from his immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
BA & above in Accounting, management, Economics, business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of two years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a related role.
Strong understanding of national business practices
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently
Proficiency in Amaharic, Afan Oromo is mandatory.
Willingness to travel from place to place in the regions as required.
