Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To oversee all aspects of the organization’s accounting and ensure that the company complies with accepted accounting principles and company procedures
Prepare tax returns
Maintain the fixed assets register and safeguard the organization’s fixed assets
Monthly collection of bank statements and bank receipt slips
Daily reconciliation of the cash registration machine
Ensure cash books and petty cash are updated daily
Prepare payroll, supervise employees attendances and punctuality and process leave requests
Administer employment agreements.
Review remittances
supervise purchases including stationery, Fuel and office supplies
Ensure suppliers (including utility bills) are paid on time
Perform other related duties as required
Managing company assets and financial expenditures.
Preparing financial documents such as invoices, tax filings, and monthly profit reports.
Maintaining files on account receivables and updating records as required.
Managing the flow of petty cash by recording all monetary transactions.
Prepare year-end, routine, ad hoc and special report analysis of financial standings as it relates to disbursement and collection of cash etc.
Supervise all regular accounting processes such as A/P and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
Analyze and forecast financial requirements for organization.
Supervise and ensure efficient working of all financial transactions in organization.
Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions.
Assist departments in account reconciliation process on monthly basis.
Monitor authorized account reconciliation process.
Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures monthly.
Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work.
Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
Salary: Negotiable
Qualification
BA Degree in Accounting, finance, or related fields
Strong understanding of accounting theory
Experience
Minimum of two (2) years' work experience in finance area or similar position
Additional Skill: -
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skill
Ability to use computer application
