Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain, and fix networking devices like switches, routers, servers, etc.
Install cables ( fiber and copper) cables, patch panels, splice enclosures and other fiber cable accessories in fttx networks.
Carries out testing of fiber lines in fttx networks, metro networks and others.
Upgrade and maintain networks.
Install wireless networks, cabling, and connections.
Troubleshoot and solve basic networking issues .
Carries out regular inspection and maintenance of various networking devices and backup power systems.
Install, maintain and fix power lines to data centers.
Install, operate ,maintain and fix power backup systems like battery backups and Diesel generators.

Qualification and Skills

Diploma in IT, computer science or any related field from an accredited technical school or college.
At least one year experience as a network technician or relevant position.
Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Skillful in installation of devices.
Good communication skills.
Good knowledge of networking.
